38 cases with periarthritis of shoulder,including 8 in mild, 20 in moderate and 10 in sever states, were treated mainly by meansof manipulation. During the treatment, 8 different manoeuvres were used, namely, muscleand tendon relieving, rubbing and trundling , digital-acupoint pressing, shoulderround-turning and so on. Acupuncture, cupping and herbal treatment was also used as auxiliary means. The significant result was indicated in 28 cases. 8 cases were basicallycured and 2 improved. The treatment course was 30 days.
